In this position you will be able to grow your skills at a leading -- and leading edge -- provider of convenient and reliable audio and web conferencing tools. You'll contribute to a wide range of activities and, assuming you're achieving your goals, we'll provide you support when you need it and "elbow room" when you don't.

This is a great opportunity whether you are an experienced system/network administrator or a recent grad, as long as you have a solid conceptual understanding of networking. To be a good fit you will have hands-on experience (on the job or in school) with TCP/IP, desktop support, and administration of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and DNS, and Exchange. You also will have some scripting knowledge and the ability to write basic SQL queries. We're looking for a self-starter with a high degree of technical aptitude and a desire to learn a broad spectrum of new technologies.

For example, we are significantly expanding our marketplace, growing our network, increasing our security requirements, deploying new systems, implementing a disaster recovery site, supporting an ever-larger team, and continually launching new applications.

What Else You'll Bring to the Table

In addition to the qualifications listed above, you'll need:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility in both planning and execution of changes.
  • A sustained ability to execute on critical projects with accelerated schedules.
  • Professionalism and a service-oriented personality, including the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
  • The ability and willingness to work on call in support of a 24x7 operation.
Preferred but not required:
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • A practical understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience with:
    • Web server administration.
    • Telephony, such as ISDN, T-1, VoIP.
    • Cisco routers.
    • Linux.
    • SQL Server administration.
We'll assess your skills by presenting you with scenarios, such as troubleshooting issues, and asking you to work through them.
